Black Forest Labs, based in Germany and the United States, has announced "FLUX Video Edit," an AI service that allows for the editing of only specified parts of a video.

The service is available via API. It enables edits such as removing specific objects or changing colors within a video, while maintaining the quality of the original footage in areas outside the edited sections. The service supports videos up to 15 seconds in length and a maximum file size of 50MB. Sources with a resolution exceeding 720p are downscaled to 720p during processing.

Pricing is set at $0.03 (approximately ¥4.63) per second of output video. Additionally, the company plans to add functionality in the near future that allows editing based on image, video, and audio references.
