At its Dev Day developer conference in San Francisco on Tuesday, OpenAI announced several new ChatGPT features designed to assist office workers in collaborative environments.

OpenAI launches collaborative office-style features including 'Space' and 'Pages'
The most notable addition is Space, a shared workspace within ChatGPT. According to CEO Sam Altman, Space acts as a central location where files and pages reside together, allowing coworkers to collaborate with the chatbot and with "Dots"—OpenAI’s newly launched AI agent personas capable of performing tasks on a user's behalf.
OpenAI also introduced Pages, a companion word processor described as a tool built for collaboration between humans and agents. Users can utilize the tool to write, conduct research, generate charts, and create images. Additionally, the company launched collaborative slides, which can be generated through conversational interaction within ChatGPT. These slides allow multiple users and agents to work together, leaving comments and making edits.
