According to a post on Hacker News, despite disabling all Siri and Apple Intelligence-related services following established debloating guides, a process named "Siri AI.app" remains active in the Activity Monitor. The user noted that this application appears to be read-only, preventing manual removal from the file system through standard methods.
The reporter expressed concerns regarding the persistence of "personal context" features, drawing comparisons to Microsoft's Recall. The user also observed that while other background processes such as mediaanalysisd and photoanalysisd were successfully disabled, the "Siri" process continued to run.
