AI development company Anthropic has reportedly postponed the disclosure of its investment prospectus for an initial public offering (IPO) to late September, with expectations to complete the listing process by early November. This timeline suggests the company may begin IPO marketing in mid-October and potentially list on the New York Stock Exchange just before the U.S. midterm elections.

Anthropic reportedly recorded its first adjusted operating profit since its founding in the second quarter of this year, with annualized revenue exceeding $65 billion as of July. The company is currently adjusting a revolving credit facility worth $15 billion. If the listing is realized within the year, Anthropic will enter the public market ahead of OpenAI, which is planning its IPO for next year or later.
