Hugging Face is a service used by researchers worldwide as a hub for distributing AI models and related code. The company also operates "ZeroGPU," an AI execution service utilizing high-performance GPUs.

NVIDIA stated that it will contribute to expanding the reliability, safety, and deployment capabilities of Hugging Face. The company also commented that this move will help Hugging Face maintain its open ecosystem.

It has been stated that Hugging Face will remain an open platform following the acquisition. NVIDIA emphasized that it will maintain an environment where developers can freely choose their inference services and computing platforms.

Clement Delangue, CEO of Hugging Face, stated that the company will maintain its openness and independence. He also explicitly stated that the entire founding team will be retained.

Regarding this acquisition, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella expressed expectations for the growth of the ecosystem. Google CEO Sundar Pichai stated that his company will continue to be a partner as an investor.
